I just went to cinema (alone 
) because i wanted to watch my favourite superhero: Spider-Man. Actually i was so busy but i liked to spend my time (and money, €11 for 1 ticket and 1 Coca Cola 0,5 L) for Spider-Man, I also wanted to “escape” from my duties and works for a moment. BTW I don’t know why i like Spider-Man very much since i was a kid. Maybe when i was a kid i liked Spider-Man because his costume…maybe. Actually Spider-Man is like the other superheroes, has a big power and also a big responsibility for justice. Beside his skills I think the difference between Spider-Man and the other superheroes is only his adversity, yup Spider-Man/Peter Parker is a poor guy.
BUT I am not going to talk about Spider-Man because I am sure hope all of you already knew him. So it’s not about the movie but it’s about values (of life). In that movie i heard so many beatiful words that i think my life will be better if i can apply that words. Now I just want to talk about some value (of life) i learned from that movie, I just want to make a list of wise words (for me). Here they are:
1. Revenge will never solve problems.
There were so many revenges I found in Spiderman 3:
- Spider-Man’s revenge on Flint Marko, a guy who has killed his uncle’s
- Harry Osborn’s revenge on Spider-Man (because he thought Spider-Man has killed his father)
- Eddie Brock’s revenge on Peter Parker, because Parker made him lost his job and his girl friend (Gwen Stacy)
When Parker and aunt May were told the true fact about uncle Ben’s murderer, Parker became so angry and wanted to revenge for his uncle’s death. But aunt May told Parker not to revenge on Flint Marko because it would never solve the problem, revenge will only make everything is going to be worse.
BUT i think revenge is good if our revenge is on SOMETHING not SOMEBODY. When we fail, we should make our fail to motivate ourselves. To be success, WE MUST REVENGE ON OUR FAIL.
2. Everybody has two sides: good and bad
Venom (black spider) infected Parker when Parker was in his big anger, that’s why Parker and Spider-Man became so different. When Venom infected Spider-Man/Parker, the bad side of Spider-Man/Parker took over the good side. Both good and bad side has same potential, so it depends on us to choose.
It’s natural for us to have a bad side, BUT to be a bad guy is our choice.That’s why there was a big difference between Eddie Brock and Peter Parker. Both Parker and Brock was infected by Venom, but Eddie Brock became a monster because his bad side was dominant while Spider-Man/Parker only became a little “monster”.
3. Everybody has a choice in his/her life
It’s still related to bad and good side. Like what i’ve said before: It’s natural for us to have a bad side, BUT to be a bad guy is our choice. We have to decide which way should be taken.
This word was said by Parker to Flint Marko when Parker forgave Flint Marko. Flint Marko became a robber because he wanted to save his daughter, he needed money.
Unfortunately the ending of Spider-Man was not happy. Although Spiderman won the battle with Sandman (Flint Marko) and Venom (Eddie Brock), his best Friend and also his enemy - Harry Osborn/New Goblin - was die when he tried to save Spiderman from Venom.
Ssssttt… the last one is from that movie I also learned how to love women uppsss… I mean a woman .

Ah, Spiderman 3.
Memang film ini luar biasa … efek visualnya. Meskipun John Dykstra sudah pergi masih ada Scott Stokdyk dan bakal menang Oscar lagi nih tahun depan.
Andai benar ini film yang terakhir untuk Tobey dan Kirsten sebagai Peter dan MJ, saya yakin ada orang lain yang cocok untuk mengganti mereka berdua yaitu Jake Gyllenhall dan Anne Hathaway.
Aku juga suka banget spiderman. Sejak kecil masih SD lho. Sampai sekarang juga masih suka. Terutama filmnya lebih menonjolkan aspek humanisme dibanding ke-superhero-annya.
